On Monday afternoon, Police Community Support Officer Will Brockett, representing the Hope Valley and Buxton Rural Safer Neighbourhood Team, conducted speed checks in Peak Dale in collaboration with Parish Councillors Eric Arnold and Debbie Owen. This initiative comes in response to numerous concerns expressed by local residents regarding the speed of vehicles, including heavy goods vehicles, traversing the village. The primary objective of this initiative is to remind motorists of the importance of adhering to speed limits and to encourage them to reduce their speed for the safety of all community members.
